Today, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors announced that in terms of supply, the start of the 2021 home selling season has been the leanest on record. With just 1192 single-family homes on the market in Rhode Island, the current inventory is approximately 25 percent less than the previous monthly record low of 1594 in the spring of 2002.
As of today, Newport has 36 single family homes on the market with prices ranging from $439,000 to $35,000,000. The multi-family sector has just 10 properties on the market ranging from $519,000 to $3,200,000; while there are 19 condominium available in Newport from $280,000 to $2,879,000.
