Portsmouth is the northern most township on Aquidneck Island located approximately 25 minutes north of Newport. With Middletown to its south, Portsmouth is bound by water to the north, east and west. Here you’ll find several public golf courses, antique shops, stores, lodging options and numerous marinas.
Portsmouth offers a very bucolic, country like setting offering beautiful views of both the bay and the river for beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
